Over the years, as mass produced joinery took over, Gordon Fletcher who studied HND Building at Manchester University in the 50s developed the general building side of the business Completing contracts for Courtaulds, Grays Soft Drinks (later Appletise), Lloyds Bank and many more local companies and local domestic customers. Mr Gordon Fletcher during recent refurbishment of chapel of rest at Spennymoor. In the 1980s Peter and Colin Fletcher took over the day to day running of the building side of the business. Peter recently graduated with a BSc. Honours degree from Leeds University and Colin gaining a OND in Building from Darlington College. In recent years the company has completed work ranging from sums of £20 to £184000.00 illustrating that no job is to small and we have the experience of larger contracts, all completed with pride in our work.
